Terrick Terrick National Park April
2001Chris Coleborn from northern Victoria
conducts an informal survey of the northern annex of Terrick Terrick National Park with
local birdos two or three times a year. We joined him in April for an excellent evening of
spotlighting.
We found 7 males and 4 females as well as a number Little
Buttonquail and Stubble Quail. Also recorded were Barn Owl, Singing bushlark and Richard's
Pipit and Fat-tailed Dunnart Sminthopsis crassicaudata. Here are a few photos.
Please note that the paddocks where the birds are
found are locked by the Ranger, and can only be accessed with his permission and under his
supervision.
