Common Treeshrew Tupaia glis seen a couple of times at DVFC
Slender Treeshrew Tupaia gracilis one at DVFC
Mountain Treeshrew Tupaia montana two animals seemed to spend a lot of their time hanging around the twin cabins, they like bananas!
Pig-tailed Macaque Macaca nemestrina a couple seen on the drive to and from DVFC
Long-tailed Macaque Macaca fascicularis less common than Proboscis but seen a few times at SK
Maroon Langur Presbytis rubicunda a really beautiful primate seen relatively frequently at DVFC, once at Poring
Silver Langur Trachypithecus cristatus a troop seen regularly hanging around the lodge at SK
Proboscis Monkey Nasalis larvatus really quite common on the banks of the river at SK
Bornean Gibbon Hylobates meulleri probably the same family group seen twice at DVFC near the start of the Rhino Ridge trail, observed very well on the second occasion
Orang Utan Pongo pygmaeus a total of eight animals were seen at SK, one male, a couple of mothers with young and a few more lone females
Malaysian Weasel Mustela nudipes a superb animal, we saw one in a gully on the walk from the HQ to the cabins at GK
Binturong Arctictis binturong a prolonged and fabulous view of a single animal feeding on a fruiting tree near the DVFC compound, Mammal of the Trip!
Low's Squirrel Sundasciurus lowii one at DVFC
Prevost's Squirrel Callosciurus prevostii seen a few times at Danum and Poring, the race on Sabah is strikingly all black and quite different to the animal on the peninsula
Horse-tailed Squirrel Sunasciurus hippurus one at DVFC

Plain Pygmy Squirrel Excilisciurus exilis this very cute squirrel was seen quite a few times at DVFC, SK and PHS

we watched one of these amazing squirrels foraging in a large tree in front of the canteen at GK for about 20 minutes, the tufts on the ears were astoundingly long reaching almost halfway down the animal's back
Bearded Pig Sus barbartus a family group would come to feed on scraps at the back of the lodge at SK
Sambar Cervus unicolor spotlit a couple of times at DVFC
Barking Deer Muntiacus muntjak commonly encountered on trails at DVFC
Bornean Barking Deer M. atherodes otherwise known as Bornean Yellow Muntjac, we saw one animal at DVFC
Lesser Mouse-Deer Tragulus javanicus two spotlit near the pond at DVFC
